A house clearance, handled from start to finish
Clearing a whole house is a big job, and it usually lands on people at a busy or difficult time. We take it off your hands. Our local team empties every room, cupboard, loft and shed, sorts items as we go, and leaves the property clear and tidy.
We're solidly based in Jesmond and Heaton, and we cover Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas – out to around 25 miles, including Gateshead, North Shields, South Shields, Tynemouth, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, Cramlington, Gosforth and Killingworth.
What a house clearance includes
- A free, no-obligation quote, with no upfront payment required
- Furniture, beds, white goods, carpets, curtains and general household contents
- Lofts, cellars, garages, sheds, gardens and outbuildings if you need them cleared too
- Checking drawers, pockets and boxes for paperwork, photos, cash and keepsakes
- Reuse and recycling wherever possible, with any saleable items offset against the cost
- A final sweep and tidy of every room we clear
Full or part clearances
Not everything has to go. Many families want to keep a few pieces of furniture, photographs or personal items. Tell us what stays and we'll work around it. Partial clearances are priced on what we actually take, so you're never paying for items you're keeping.
Who we help
We clear homes for families after a bereavement, people downsizing or moving into supported accommodation, executors and solicitors dealing with an estate, and landlords between tenants. Every job gets the same care, whatever its size.
Payment on completion
You only pay once the work is done to your satisfaction, and we don't charge a collection fee within our local catchment area. Where a job is further out, or where parking charges apply, we'll tell you in advance. See our house clearance costs page, or get a free quote.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a full house clearance take?
Most two or three-bedroom houses are cleared in a single day. Larger properties, or homes with a very full loft or garage, may take longer. We'll give you a realistic estimate when we quote.
Do I need to be there on the day?
No. Many customers arrange a key or access through a relative, solicitor or estate agent. We keep you updated and can send photos once the work is finished.
Can you clear a house at short notice?
Often, yes. Let us know your deadline – a tenancy end date or a sale completion, for example – and we'll do our best to fit the clearance in before it.
